Nice trip Ajay and a even nicer write up for a first travelogue.
Moms are always like that. I am running 44 now, but my mom is still.....
As for one of the comments here on wife's permission, there is an old saying - When a married man tells, 'Great plan, let me think it over', it actually means, 'Let me ask my wife'!
All the best for conquering Leh and hope to see a even more crispier travelogue

@Ajay - Hey even I was present at the Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering, Moodbidri for the stunt show of Ghost Ryderz! They were really awesome! I even remember seen a yellow v1 R15 in the parking. Must have been yours, I suppose!

it was as if i were riding along w/ u thru the entire journey.
i plan to get Leh'd this or the next year [subject to wifey permitting me to do so - yes - u read that right - 14 yrs in the marriage - i no longer need to seek permission from my mother, but sure need to, from my wife - that's life :-/]
