Andheri(Spider aka Me)/Sanpada (Shiva aka Himself)-Manor-Daman-Silvassa-some Dam I dunno the name-Jawar-Manor-BACK-Party-All-Night
Bike is in a very bad condition, coz a small 2-3 kms. stretch between Silvassa & Jawar Sucks lyk anything...
But watever, MAN! Daman rocks...
THE TRIP-LOG:

THE START:
0400 hrs: Shiva calls up n says, "Neend nahi aa rahi hai be..." (Sorry man but I cant do anything abt dat! in sleeping Mode).
0430 hrs: Got fultoo GEARED (I mean garib ke pass jo kuch bhi hai vo) fer the Ultimate-New-Year-Spin...
AUTO-START-ZMA-R (with a twisted Handle-bar), Here I Gooo...
0500 hrs: It was freezing. Reached Fountain Hotel at Exact 5 AM (). Waited fer Shiva n rossi to arrive. Rossi's cell was outareach n I knew he was out. Shiva arrived 10 mins. later. Fer a chance we waited fer Rossi (sunn raha hai na, WE WAITED!) till 6 AM! TEA break!!!
0600 hrs: We STARTED... towards Manor. It was freezing.
THE CHANGES:
So the original Plan: was to go Trimbakeshwar via Jawar... Go twisty-visty via the curves of the GHATS, Visit the temple, Ask fer something like a new year gift (inspired by X'mas Santa) from GOD... n cum back!
So How it changed? We were Riding near Manor(It was freezing) when I saw this board reading, "DAMAN 90 kms.", I signalled Shiva n we stopped fer a lil chit chat n Pee, dats where I asked him...
Spider: "Howz Daman"
Shiva(dreamy look): "Mast Beaches hai udhar."
Spider(Evil in My eyes): " Kya bolta hai? lets ride to Daman!"
Shiva(inspecting): "Only if we are goin fer some Beach syd Spirit"
Spider(corrupt mind): "Abbe ye bhi koi puchne ki baat hai! lets Do it..."
Shiva(Lyf ban gayi boss look): "Chal lets take a Pit-Stop fer Breakfast at Manor, fir nikalte hai..."
Here We Go, fer the Brand New Chill-out Plan...
THE ROADTRIP:
0800 hrs: Jai Hind Dhaba, our 1st PIT-STOP. We had Omlette-pav, Misal-pav & tea... it was great eating here, coz the food was very tasty n It was freezing. We asked the dhabawala to get some hot water fer us, coz our hands were frozen.
Shiva did some Downloading work & we took Off...
So we had 87 kms. to cover fer Daman... Our Machines were hitting 120-130 km/hr. but had to slow down many tyms to 80-90 km/hr. coz of the trucks n other traffic.
0930 hrs: We reached Daman, n Shiva took me to a Beach n My-Oh-My, My eyes n mouth were DROP-WIDE-OPEN...
Never had seen so gorgeous Beach with Sleeping Dogs everywhere (A Virgin Dog Beach!), people doin Good Morning Potty...HELLO!
Almost Black Sand Beach, Rest Imagine urself, coz Me n Shiva were Laughing lyk anything, seeing so dumb expressions on each other's faces... WTF!!!
We were clueless n Dumbstruck, coz it was not "the place Of our Plans..."
0945 hrs: I made a call to Nagpur, as one of my friend has a Beach Resort at Daman... n Yo baby got some Ray-Of-hOpe... towards our chill out Plan!
He told us to go Miramar Beach resort (sala 5 star resort hai!)... But as if we had a choice! We moved ON...
jst a km. or 2 away... it was great, but jst before that my eyes shot towards a resort jst by Miramar's syd... it had an authentic setting fer New Year, n a Perfect Beach syd View fer our Plans to be followed in full Spirit mode. We took a U-turn n entered Sea Rock Resort...
1000 hrs: Nofin less than any 5-Star stuff, it was made off.
We found ourselves a nice place below a coconut tree with a Spectacular view of Devka Beach (its Sandless n Rocky, but people in Gujrat still call it a beach! LOL!) n Blue waters stretching beyond the Horizons... I jst Hope it was Blue, coz it was far far away. LOL!
The far away winds were slapping our faces (they cudnt touch the body as we were geared)
n man we were shivering as Hell, It was freezing at 1000 hrs. in the morning.
A beach syd table in the middle of two very comfy khatias with soft soft Cotton gaddas... hehe!
It was comfy as in C-O-M-F-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-e-e-e-e-e-e...
So we got the menu cards n We jumped, staring at the prices... WTF! Its cheaper than the ****shop...
Daman is Heaven fer the High Spirited people, people up fer some cheap beach syd fun, people lyk Us...
We ordered some heavenly deposits n chicken chilly n boiled chana n finger chips...
We even had a Phillies Blunt Chocolate flavoured Cigar (I hope its legal to mention it here!)...
n fer next 3 hours, we were not Riders anymore, it was more like PILOTS...
Laid on a very soft Khatia, we were flying, dreaming n appreciating the Beauty Of Nature (Cos, you missed it BIG... It cud have been a delight with ur new SLR
) spread across, yards away from our resting foots... It was a SPECTACULAR morning-cum-afternoon, specially when we were in total celebrative n festive mood...
It was a Soothing sensation beyond any spiritual feeling, It was a Divinity Among Emotions...
Shiva checked his watch n man it was 1300 hrs. past afternoon, the tym, according to out plan, we had to be in Silvassa by 1300 hrs. but here we were, still-still-still!
we called fer the bill n this was the part WE DANCED, INR 380 only. The god of cheapness, DAMAN!
1315 hrs: Finally we paid our bills, got geared again n set out fer Silavassa. It hardly took us an hour to get to a Dam (suggested by Cosgeo99) past Silvassa.
The road to this dam was amazing, with some really sexy curves...
It was a Photographic treat with the exclusive twists n turns, n extremely Beautiful sceneries all around, Shiva cudnt stop his fingers moving in each direction after every curve we passed...
It proved all worth when we reached a lil Bridge with one of the most Beautiful sights ever I had ever seen in My xbhp Short-trips... Even My Sweet lil N91 cudnt capture the grandure of dat place, where we did our longest PHOTO-SHOOT on this TOUR... (Pics coming soon)
After that we reached the lake, we were up to! but were so damn tired we just rested n enjoyed the people doing water-sports! YES there is Water-Sports there, but as it was supposedly, A cheap-Planned-trip, we had fruit juices n just enjoyed the View, while I took a few shots of the lake with our BABES around...
1516 hrs: We started our journey back as it was getting late, n we had big plans fer the
Evening- the 31st...
We hurried thru those irresistable curves & twists, bending n leaning our bikes to their max,. we thoroughly enjoyed a fast ride till a damn turn happned, n wat we saw was a long stretch of the worst road I had ever travelled thru! Our 80-90 km/hr. speed went down to a mere 20-30 km/hr., We were totally exausted when dat stretch ended after 5-6 kms. We started rushing, coz it took a long tym to cover-up dat stretch of shit...
1700 hrs: Finally We reached Jawar... Truly a lil piece of heaven dropped from heaven ofcrse!
We took a Final halt at A very Beautiful lake Side Dhaba... Did some CLICK-CLICK-CLICK around the Lake (Pics Under Process! sala Cos ki bimaari lag gayi) & had Kanda-bhajiya n tea at the dhaba, had a lil chit chat abt out evening plans n we went-OFF to Infinity n Beyond...
It was 1740 hrs.
1930 hrs: We reached Fountain Hotel after a near Blinding Ride (Cos knows why! Dawn Blindness! LOL!) & one heck of a traffic I ever witnesses, felt lyk all the Gujrat was driving down to Mumbai fer New year celebrations...
Shiva tailed, n I leaded the pack... LOL!!! Humorless...
We Good-by'ed each other, wished happy New Year n set Off to our destined places... PARTY-HARD-ROCK-MUMBAI-n-GALS-IF-I-CAN-FIND-ANY... Oops!!! going OT I guess... But I had a heck of a NewYear, Hope I can tell you what We did actually...
