Day 2: Kodai Places to Visit

Day 2:Pathetic Experience: Heavy traffic and at Pillar rock I lost my tripod for few hours and finally one among shopkeepers saved it from the robbery and gave it to me back. That was an awesome experience.

How did the Impulse hold up. Asking specifically since you have varied bikes there. Could it keep up?

[MENTION=12167]naveenroy[/MENTION] : Impulse made his impression in all the days of the trip. Only in highways we have segregated ourselves in to two speed limits

80-90 kmph - Yamaha R15, Impulse and Pulsar 220
90-110 kmph – Duke 200, Pulsar 200NS, Karizma and HD

So, we didn’t face any issues with any bike. If we do over limit not only with Impulse, any bike for sure will make us to get bad experience.

Why did the 200NS skid & later what was wrong with the Impulse??, less power? tough terrain?

The 200NS approach speed was more than the rider expected and he tried to brake which made him slip.
Impluse, power was ok. But the terrain was tough as it was a very steep big root, which made the tyre to have Zero grip!
