          Wow. The pics are beautiful.
Do they still have those unmarked road humps in Bandipur forest esp invisible in the tree shade?

                      Dec 29 - Calicut-Cochin-Aluva-Idukki-Kattapana [310 K]

I wanted to see Munnar. Thought this was the right opportnity. Also heared that it was very cold there with -ve temp. So decided to go to Rahuls house in Katappana which is near to Munnar. 29th Morning 7:30 pm I started from Calicut.

Its not an interesting route till Aluva except there was an Bharathapuzha and Backwaters near Chalakudi. The route was very familiar so didnt felt doing a trip, it was like doing a local transport. There are lots of famous temple on the way.

The roads are not that great to , its very narrow. After Aluva starting from Perumbavur-Thodupuzaha the roads were reall good abd very scenic. Infact after thodupuzah its reall fun , the ghat setion begins and it never ends till Rahuls home. I was literally tiered taking the turns. This was the second best stretch in the whole trip (Thodupuzha-Iduki-Kattapana) around 90-100 km of if am not wrong. Also there was 3 dam in this stretch. I reached Rahuls house around 4 O'c lock.

We had coffe from there and after some time went back to a view poin which is 15km away. I was fun going there following Rahul
on the mountains. Believe me this guy has no fear taking any curves in that narrow road. U will never know whats the surprie in the next turn , got be be very careful.

The breathtaking view point is the best one I have ever seen. We can see the whole hills and the river flowing. And it was damn cold too. We sat there till the sunset and and took some snaps too. Riding back to his home was eqully fun.Next day plan wa to go Munnar and stay there for the night and then Rahul can com back to his home and I continue to Bangalore..
