Thanks a lot Mik,Here is the rough break-up of second day.

Early start from Theog,Breakfast at Khadapatthar,Rohru by noon,Rohru-Chanshal-Rohru by evening,Rohru to Vikasnagar was night ride,reached vikasnagar around 4-5 AM.Rested for an hour and so..Took the saharanpur - doband route and reached Ghaziabad around 2-3 PM.

Day 1 - Ghaziabad - Ambala - Solan - Chail - Kufri - Theog


Don't have much to write,so this is going to be a photo log


This ride happened on 18-19 May weekend,where i started for Chail and beyond..but ended up riding to rohru and then Chanshal pass and then a bone breaking night ride..back to Ghaziabad.


I finished my night shift on Saturday morning around 2 AM and started towards Shimla.


Caught up with the Sunrise around Kurukshetra.








Road condition was very good all the way..till Solan.From where i took diversion to reach Chail.








Nice place to stay for the weekend or at least have a meal

Stopped at Chail for Lunch break





I was feeling bit tired and thought of staying at Chail for the rest of the day.Instead of looking out for a private hotel,i preferred to go to HPTDC hotel.When i reached at the gate of the hotel,the guard asked me to pay 100 bucks for entering the premises..he said the hotel is a historic site and to enter you have to pay 100 bucks.All i wanted is to check the room rates..whether it fits my budget or not.So i decided not to pay 100 bucks and rode ahead towards Kufri.

I reached Kufri and decided to stay for the rest of the day,but didn't find any proper accommodation. So i rode ahead in search of a better accommodation. Finally got a good place to stay in Theog.Was dead tired,crashed to bed immediately.
