err.. won't that pass through lavasa city itself? .. if those guards let you..
that route in reverse might be something to attempt..

Then that wud be possible only if one is travelling via a car..!!

as the public two wheelers are not allowed the lavasa city...!!

@Inder: Where did you saw it? Yes, I got Apache's headlamp and speedo console on my Fiero.

The last time I did that route in reverse (2 yrs back), there was no one at the base gate at Lavasa (along Varasgaon backwaters).. there were ppl at the top-gate and they wouldn't let you in ..

Even I did that in reverse , the guards whistled at first check post (there is no gate and i didnt stop) then when I saw guards stop me at the second (near the dam where the road bifurcates and one of them goes uphill towards the lavasa main entrance)They did allow me to snoop around for a while , but was not allowed to cross that gate.

although if you get a permission from lavasa office , it just has your vehicle number , so its very much possible

Aug 2007.. at that time they were laying streetlights on the road to lavasa starting from panshet..

I've been inside Lavasa once on bike (with permission arranged by somebody else).. from there I've noticed roads on the other side of varasgaon which were still in construction.. those will be a real treat to ride on. no body to stop, and should give a full view of Lavasa .. but I dont know where that stretch starts from ..

I went too long back man.. I don't remember .. they were there in a few corners.. the large concave mirrors .. Techno has been there recently.. he might know better
