@kaydee_bangalore, was it you? Man, you scared the hell out of me. No, not that you were speeding. My friend, in his Red 200NS, was following me. I looked into the RVM, I saw a yellow 200NS all of a sudden tailing behind me. It took me some time to realize that it wasn’t my friend who I thought to have tricked his pulsar to change its color. In that while, I got so many ideas to which you would laugh your a$$ out if you heard them now.

Me and a bunch of buddies had this same trip planned for the Independence weekend. But situations were not in favor..!!
And now reading through your travelogue, i m cursing myself for not doing it.

Yeah.. We were riding slow, and many people overtook us on the way. It got us slightly worried too as we thought it might be hard to get an accommodation if the place was going to be this busy. But fortunately, we got a good one.

The temple stood grand. One of the major attractions was the stone chariot. No experts in the ancient architectures we are, nevertheless we were left just awestruck. And to think that this was only one such ruin in the whole of Hampi gave us a picture of what laid ahead for the day.

And in the banks of the Tungabadra River, we had an awesome sugarcane juice that the vendor made out of his hand-rotated machine.

It was time to see other places, but boy, we were already close to exhaustion.

awesome writeup and some drooling pictures there my friend ..i was revisiting my memories of this place when i was going through your travelogue . Hampi is a place where you feel like staying more than 2 days. Infact the more your stay, the more you discover places, the more you get mesmerized. Btw, since you were blown away by the awesomeness of Hampi, i would like to recommend a trip to Badami as well . And keep pouring more pics bro..keep riding!
