It was very long since I went on ride. I have been parted from my bike for more than 4 months now,coz after my engineering
my job posted me to chennai
. It was independence day and I was back in bangalore, with my bike.I wanted to go on a ride, checked with friends
if anybody were interested. Everyone were busy in some work.I decided to ride alone, but my brother joined me as pillion.
I had seen Bangalore Bikers page had posted pictures of Shivanasumdra on facebook. The falls were at its best, so we decide to ride
to Shivanasumdra.
We decided to leave home at 6 am, guess what we started at 6.Reached Tumkur rd, and took deviation towards the Nice Toll Rd
and reached Kengeri. We stopped at Chennapatana for some tea.I had one my brother had 2
. Started riding again, reached maddur
around 8:30.Now had to take a deviation towards Malavalli. The road was very bad from Maddur to Malavalli.
Reached Malavalli around 9. We had breakfast at Malavalli and reached Shivanasumdra at 9 30.
After watching both Bharachuki and Gaganachuki, we left Shivanasamudra at 2.
By the time we reached Maddur ,it was very cloudy. As we crossed Channapatna it started drizzling .By the time we reached the
deviation for Kanva dam, it started raining heavily. We stopped near the temple on the Mysore rd.
We waited for half and hour, the rain god had no intention of stopping, so started again and reached home half drenched.

Shivasamudram looks beautiful after the rains! Was there any water in Kanva dam? We made a short ride there recently and it looked as dry as ever (?)
