    nice pics man. duke 390 is the most powerful indian production motorycle to date (if I'm correct). Bajaj - KTM zindabad. btw, doesn't the underbody silencer cause problems when wading through water??

      I asked the service guys this same question during my first service ten days back (it's just 1000 km in my hands). They said as long as water does not reach below the seat level where the throttle is, it is not a problem. Even if the bike is standing in water that is above the exhaust hole, you can start the bike and just go. I didn't try it but the conviction with which they said it would make me believe they are correct.

        Your svc guy is right I have crossed river on Duke 200 with knee deep water no problems

          Spark plug level to be exact! Once in a while is ok, but doing it regularly may land you in trouble.

          To give you an idea:
          (It's not me, I snapped it though. Also, I hate the fact that the rider isn't wearing his lid)

            Thanks guys. That gives me some confidence. Do you want to suggest any off/bad roading tyre for the 390 where I don't need to play around with the mudguards?
