I took a wrong turn and landed up taking the virajpet route to hunsur, most of the forest area there was no road, and I am still suprised that Busa did its charm the Kerb weight kept it going on and on even on off road, gravel and mud roads. bike came out without a scratch

Friday the 13th September was a really long day after long season in the office I finally landed at the office party, at about 9 the rains started and as usual wet clouding my mind.... Will be able to bike or is this going to be another one of those boring long trips in a car. Again GOD turned the climate in my favor, up and ready by 5am me and my wife drove to the meeting point @ WTR, after dropping off the luggage and her I was off home to pick up the bike and leave.

Thought the rains stopped the darn traffic was starting to build up, I felt it's as like ever for me to drive home, 45 minutes for 12km at 6am .... My was this getting ridiculous, I was wondering how the Mysore road will turn out by the time I reach there. I finally reached home geared up, trusty oneal matrix boots, knee guards, gloves jacket and I was off to Coorg, some wrong turns at HMT watch factory and quickly realized how rains can change the terrain reasonable roads to off road tracks within weeks, trust me you need to see the condition of that road on the videos, and you will be amazed how the busa made it through with out a scratch, but this was just the icing on the cake which. Will come to later.

I waded thru the heavy traffic and reached Kamath Lokaruchi at 1030. The car had already reached there about 40 minutes before, they guys were done eating just waiting for me, as I was entering the parking a 1 car cut in front and an innova stopped in middle of the entrance in front of me and I landed up jamming the breaks to avoid it. In the process I tipped the bike to the right, and the busa being a heavy beast wanted to take a nap,but luckily the mile of experience and some quick thinking I mounted off the bike on the right side, this helped me stop it from tipping over. Yes this is on the video, quickly got back on and rode into the parking.

Lunch at Kushal Nagar, loved the food and the service here, I hope he maintains the quality over the years. I definetly recomend this place.



The best part of the ride was the twisty roads throughout the estates most of them were ok the busa suspension is world class and took a good beating to save my toushy. Didn't feel much. I had softened the suspension setting anticipating the road condition the previous night. This is where the fully adjustable front and back suspension of the busa come handy, if your a DYI guy and have done some reading it's child's play.

Dam the auto correct keeps renaming busa, as bush and everything to its wims and fancy.... Some thing tells me it liking the former POTUS....!!

comming to handling, hmmmm difficult to find the right words. This is one bike that is like a tank solid ride through and through, even at speeds of 70 to 80 throughout the roads in Coorg it kept going and going like the energizer bunny, I was afraid firs and put it in C MODE To keep it tame, but soon realized that A MODE offered more to urge and control thought the twists and was more enjoyable.

I reached my relatives pace in gonikoppal took the great pan aramid shot and my friends was there waiting, am referring t the rain. Am in my usual style I thanking god and my stars forgiving me this lovely ride.

on way back I took the viral pet route, bad choice my decision was like flipping a coin and see which rout to take..... Was trying to be adventurous, and I got what I asked for, if anyone done this route recently you will second me, not even a bus was taking this road and let alone me a big dumbo took a bush on it. Poor bird went thru YouTube but did let me down got me to the junction that leads HUNSUR. I stooped at coorg cafe for lunch and again Sunday was a day of mistakes for me food and service sucked.

I finally caught up with the bullet and GT650 who had left earlier they had stopped due a cut saddle bag at a IOC ramanagar, so I had company with me upto the time we caught up with another black santro car of our convoy which had a flat. I didn't want to ride late as the sun was setting hence carried on. The green Santro in the videos reach home only by 9 pm. The drive was first time going on the highway hence was not crossing 80 at any point in time.
