Re: Fascinating ride
Another fantastic Road trip by Mrs. & Mr. AdventureOriginally posted by Haroon View Post
On a closing note, with our arrival back into Bogota on the bike, this marked 2 very special milestones for Mrs & Mr Team Rideforpassion- Firstly, the successful culmination of our ride in Colombia in one piece and secondly the fact that we as a Indian husband-wife team have now done a motorbike ride on all the major continents on the planet. We are surely nothing like those hardcore RTW travelers, but in our own small way with the given challenges of originally coming from humble backgrounds, having limited resources, money, time, school going children etc, we were able to accomplish this feat which to us is an important personal accomplishment. Thanks to the almighty and also the encouragement from our friends & relatives.
Two Indians with our beloved tricolor after completing the ride in Colombia

Gratitude to the almighty

to all of you and thanks for coming along with us here.
. as always a detailed and fun filled travelogue
.
Congratulations on achieving the milestone of successfully completing the Motorbike ride in 6 Continents - Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, New Zealand and South America..
Hope this achievement is considered for a Official Record.

Re: Fascinating ride
Kudos on completing the trip ... could you PM the costs as wellOriginally posted by Haroon View PostThanks. The costs are indeed the hard part of all the trips
.....I have sent a PM
...
But wow
- Columbia looks like has better overall road infrastructure in-comparison to India
- Almost similar category of motorcycles and scooters buzzing around - "made in India" ones
- More hilly regions ??? But nice swooping roads , should have been fun riding in a with temperatures hovering in and around 15C
Yeah, best of success with finding next set of road patch to ride on in Antarctica
, worst case may be GS can make its own ROAD
So far continents covered are - Europe, Asia (India), North and South America... Have you ridden in Australia and Africa as well ?
Will sit through the thread when I find some time to go through the details.. but Naice

Colombia reminded us of a 'Wyanad', but with beautiful tarmac everywhere.
Yeah, the GS will have to search out the roads in Antarctica...... We have already done rides in South Africa & New Zealand (Oceania). Its all there on our website:
Thanks a lot. I hope more xbhp members single & married take the plunge to discover our little planet on two wheelsOriginally posted by princesirohi View PostAh, awesome.. you are an inspiration..
