  • Bangalore-Tirupati-Bangalore(Solo, one day)

Did solo run to Tirupati-Tirumala and back on pulsar 150DTSi.Had booked a Rs.50 ticket in advance online for darshan. When I go there with family I always book tickets and go to save time in dardhan. Believe me we get darshan in 2 or 2 and a half hours.

I had done a quite a few group long rides on my RE bullet 350 std. Sold it unfortunatly. Urge for long ride was there in me.

I wanted to do this ride from quite a long time. Checked the bike thoroughly, and was good to go. As I had booked tickets for 10AM I wanted to start early by 4.30AM. Kept an alarm to 3.30AM. I woke up before the alarm striked. Got freshened up in no time, prayers to god and and blessings from parents. I was on saddle 4.30AM sharp. As it was November the weather was quite chill. Started towards KR Puram. In back of my mind, I missed something. So stopped for a moment and checked the pocket. OMG..! I missed the darshan ticket's printout copy. I did a check list, howcum did I miss it. While wearing my gears and shoes I had left it on sofa instead of keeping it in my jacket's pocket, after check list. Damn on me. Came back home picked it up and started again by 5AM.

A delayed start. After KR puram NH4 is a 4 lane road and was nice to ride. After mulbagal took a pee break. Touched the the engine crank case. It was warm instead of being hot due to cool weather condition. Back on saddle didn't waste any time. On chittoor I took the city route coz the byepass road was in a bad shape. After surpassing the city gave a 10mins break for the engine. By 9AM. I was at the Alipiri toll gate, paid the toll and the started the climb. I was able the overtake almost all the vehicles, it was a nice feeling.

I didn't have coffee or breakfast, wanted to have after the Lord Balaji's darshan only. At 9.45AM I stopped and parked the bike just opposite to the drshan's queue entrance. And placed my jacket back pack bag and cellphone(cellphones, tablets walkman etc not allowed) in the luggage counter. I waited calmly resting on the benches put in the queue for darshan. At 12.30 finished the drashan and by 12.45 got the famous Tirumala laddoos. As I was damn hungry I went to a shack in front of the temple and had fried rice. Came back and collected all my belongings from the luggage counter.

2PM on the saddle for a home run. Climbing down the hill was an awe feeling. By about 4PM was in chittor, near Mulbagal had a small coffee break. after reaching Kolar my butt started to feel of sore(just for 500km, hats off to guys achivieving saddle sore, also for attempting). I was trying different positions to sit a couple of times. Another butt break for 10 mins. The traffic was quite heavy on the return journey. Didn't rush back home by navigating in the traffic, I took my time be safe. Finally I reached home by 8PM. Had dinner and distributed laddos to family members and friends.
