Philosophy aside, what better way to wind up the year than with a ride? The year may be ending but the road still invitingly stretches ahead and to a biker there is no greater joy than the open road

    The day to come .....next!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

Thanks for the approval VJ! And many congrats on your new role! Here's wishing you all the very best

We try our very best to visit the holy shrine of Velankanni whenever we can and December is always a good time since the weather is pleasant and the skies are clear and blue. So on the 20th of December (on exactly the same day, last year, we had ridden to Velankanni and later onward to Rameswaram, Dhanushkodi and Kanyakumari ( http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/25080-south-south-west-two-wheels-two-hearts-our-2-300-km-coastal-adventure.html)
This year, though we decided to make it a shorter ride and get back to Bangalore for Christmas and the New Year.

        The Onward Route:
        Bangalore/ Hosur/Krishnagiri/Dharmapuri/Salem/Namakkal/Trichy/Tanjavur/Nagapattanam/Velankanni.
The morning was chilly, as we leave the city early in the morning, the fog sets in and misty road ahead feels pleasantly cool. We decide to enjoy the chill because we know soon the sun will come up things will surely hot up!

After tanking up and an early breakfast we continue on the by now too familiar route, having ridden this way so many times. But every ride is new and needs to be enjoyed and so we will.
We pass numerous toll booths on the way and it always makes us smile as we bikers are privileged and pass through toll free!

There are so many ways to cross a river- bridges, boats and ferries, but for these simple folk it's by foot and what warms our heart is that the do it with a smile

We stop for lunch near Trichy and have a hot vegetarian meal. We’ve gotten totally used by now at the strange looks people give and the where, why, how questions looking at our gear and saddle bags. It’s starting to get warm now, especially when we stop and we wondered how it would be during summer time

As we leave Trichy and near Tanjavur and Nagapattanam, we ride alongside a river and beautiful green on both sides. Short breaks for clicks and shortly we are at Velankanni.

The ECR and the flavors of France next....

        Cheers Guys!

                          Thank You!

On our last visit to Pondy during one October, our plans to watch the sunrise was totally washed out by a sudden downpour, so this time we made it a point to get up early and take a ride to the seaside to watch the sun rise and it was totally worth it to witness an amazing ‘slideshow’ of nature’s glory! It was a truly mesmerizing sequence of stunning visuals. All of us watching could barely take our eyes off the beautiful sky!

With such a glorious morning, it was such a joy to see all the people around just enjoying themselves, while many were walking or jogging, some were just sitting back admiring the sky or like me clicking away for posterity!

Some more pics to share, will upload shortly....duty calls!

                          Cheers!

                            Thanks Ramesh!

With such a lovely start to the day, after a hot breakfast of idlies and vadas we ride down to a beach to relax awhile before the sun heats up.

After a couple of days of mostly relaxing and lazing around, it’s time to head back home. With Christmas and the New Year just around the corner, it’s party time! Let the celebrations begin!

                            Return Route:

                            Puducherry/Tindivanam/Tiruvannamalai/Krishnagiri/Hosur/Bangalore

Until The Next Ride.... Cheers Guys!
