  • Bangalore-> Chennai -> Pondicherry

    My brother had completed his engineering exams. As he uses my bike for commuting to college, I had to leave my bike back in Bangalore when I left for my job to Chennai approximately a year ago.

    I had been to Mahabalipuram a couple of times . The first time I was on ECR to Mahabalipuram,
    I had decided I am gonna ride on this scenic highway aka ECR. As my brother would not need bike for a month, I thought this was the right time do it.

    I was so desperate to get back on bike, I just cant put them in words.
    Decided that I would ride from Bangalore-> Chennai->(of course via ECR) Pondicherry and back to Bangalore.
    Pondicherry was just a excuse , ECR was the reason.

    I could not get continuous offs at my work place. So I had to do this trip over a span of 10.
    28 th Dec I decided to start from Bangalore. The day before I cleaned by bike thoroughly, Bought few bungee chords(did not use them though), filled the tyres with Nitrogen , had heard good reviews about it, just wanted to give it a try. By the time I reached back home I noticed a considerable drop in the tyre pressure. So went back again to the petrol station where I got it filled, the guy who fills in air had left. With no choice left I filled the tyres with normal air.( Any body with similar experiences with nitrogen? Or may the petrol station guy did not fill it properly). On 28thth noon I left Pondicherry around 4 pm and reached Chennai around 6:30 pm.

    On 8th morning I left Chennai around 4:30 am in the morning, I missed a diversion before hitting the AH48 , thank god I realized it soon and checked the google maps and got back on track.
    Just took one break for breakfast 50KM before Krishnagiri.
    Reached Bangalore(Home) around 12:30 pm.

    PS:I am not much of a writer, but i have tried my best, to put up this travelogue.
    If things are not going right. Go left

    Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

    And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END
