It began seven years ago when I bought my first bike. It was a different experience every time you ride it.People remember when they fall in love for the first time with the other. On the contrary, I remember when I fell in love with motorcycles. You ride and risk your life for a chance to turn travelling into an adventure. You commit one mistake and it becomes an experience for a life time.
Riding bikes is an unparalleled & distinctive skill that is highly appreciable, but only by them who love it! The eccentricity & freedom of riding on an open road is something that is lost when travelling by a car. Riders experiences many things on road and always have hunger to ride. You intimately connect with your surroundings, as vivid fragrance of the nature touch your soul, the light breeze make you feel light, the firm texture of the road is felt through grip on the bars & you sense subtle temperature changes on the back of your neck. It gives you a feeling of being on the edge. Every revolution of the wheel gets the rider closer to his destination. The only view to you is through the visor, which acts as the window to the road ahead or view of a thunderstorm is through your rear-view mirror.

If I would have asked these very question 6-7 months back, my response would been a HUGE YES! But then I thought the longer I stick to the office cubicle, the farther I will be away from my dream (to be back on riding). I was never afraid to slow down, but life teaches you to slow down to keep up expectation. Eventually it takes a tank full of fuel, before you can think straight.Yes! I know that one can never outrun a Motorola!
I wanted to cherish all those moments which I missed due to my injuries. My injury coincided with the beautiful and awesome monsoon in south India. This factor again gave me a reason to ride with the whole enthusiasm back in me.
I realized that there are two types of people in this world. One who ride motorcycles and second who wish they could ride motorcycles...
"Zero visible Night Ride-Devikulam-Munnar"
Most memorable rides were Bangalore - Mangalore with phanikar towards end of rainy season. It reminds me of riding in dark, while it was raining heavily.Another was with my best friend rajat to Munnar-Thekkady. We rode mostly during night in Kerala. Whenever we looked down at the road, it seemed that it would never end - but you better believe it did. Whatever it was, we went with the wind.

These rides really helped me to conquer my fear and allowed me push my limits and come out of my comfort zone. I would just say at-last :
I've seen better days, but I've also seen worse,
I don't have everything what I want,but I do have all I need.
I woke up with some aches & pains, but I woke up,
My life may not be perfect but i am blessed.
