The rough terrain and barren landscape is on the border area of Maharashtra where there is a temple of Devi Danamma that is over 800 years old. HK had to answer a number of times to the questions on "which bike is this?", "how much does it cost?", "what is the mileage?" from people whenever we stopped for a break. At Birur, he was mobbed by a huge crowd that gathered to see this bike. On the way to Guddapur, a cop chased us in his car only because he wanted to have a closer look at the bike.

My rides have usually been into the interiors of Karnataka and this state has several nuggets of hidden treasure that are yet to be explored. Hopefully HK will join me in my future trips too .
