This is a photo feature dedicated to the Bravehearts whom unlike myself was off-roading for the first time but very thrilled with the feeling of having done it once they reached their destination.

Line after breakfast at Kilimanoor

Line-up before Saddle-Dam, Thenmala

A different angle of the shot before Saddle-Dam, Thenamal

Line-up in front of 13 Arch Bridge, Themala

View from the top of 13 Arch Bridge

Few of us dared to trek to the top of the Bridge and check out the Mountain Tunnel

Out of the 24 riders, only few of us dared to take the off-roading to Rose-Hills while others stayed back at the main road

A deviation on the way, One towards Rose-Hills and the other towards Rajathottum

The water-crossing which Harikeshpk failed on his first attempt, but lucky day for us.

More off-roading

A small Temple on the way

The Rose-hills settlement after almost 1hr of off-roading, it's Solar powered village.

As DeVille quoted, "All I could see"

Finally we reached after 12kms where we had to park the motorcycles and trek to the top. Two care-takers (local people) took us till the top. We had to take prior permission to go to the top but these people were very nice to let us visit otherwise. The trekking doesn't need any permission during monsoon season though. Since it's summer and as a precautious from forest-fire the permission is required.

The trek trail

A shed on-course of the trekking

The 25ft tall tower is seen in this photo, which we can climb and get a view of the Thenmala reserviour. None of us dared to though by it's rusty condition.

Your Truely trying to take a good Panaromic shot of the reserviour...

The Panoramic shot from top of Rose-hills. The particular place where we are standing is the middle of the Thenmala catchment. 12kms to either direction.
Anothe view

Once again, thanks to Harikesh for introducing us to the place. It's a beautiful place.
