Thanks man. It was meant for my blog and copied it here hence the detail

Will try out other options before taking extreme steps

@ Praveen. Nice log and great pics. The route was a little confusing coz for me Ooty/Gudalur etc is Mysore Road, while Bekal (Kasargod) is Tumkur Rd/Hassan Route. But then who cares- Its the ride & not the destination- Right?

          Ride safe.

There are many ways to get to Kasargod- Most prefer the Mangalore road...

Spent quite a time to go through all the thread Praveen. Really nice narration and nice pics too. The bachache thing is really alarming. Do something for that.

What I found in Karnataka in my recent trip was, there were very good stretches of road and very bad stretches too in the same route;the two extremities. I have seen some of the worst roads I have ever seen in Karnataka.

              Thanks for sharing dude.

Thanks Haroon. Hehe yeah you are right
Bekalfort is around 60 kms south of mangalore on the coast. cannonore or kannur comes much more south. From ooty going west u can hit the coast at places like calicut, kannur etc. Like wise can take man roads from coast to bangalore kinda running parallel to the Bangalore mangalore road.

Praveen, earlier, I found this on ur blog but not on xBhp...But now it's online.

Awesome tip and pics...man, it takes some guts going off road, specially since I was The Blair Witch Project yesterday. But you seem to have covered all Karnataka. Also came to know that you have been to Spiti as well...totally cool brother. Perhaps I might get luck enuf someday to go.

About the backpain, try some physio therapy, plus strap on a Cramster belt when going on a trip. It helps a lot on road...Howz office work?? I don't find any time, and weekends taken up by GF.

Thanks Sunil. Those trips accumulated over the years. You also have lot of time for em.
Did some physio therapy, dunno how much it will help. Will think about the cramster belt.
Guess GFs and trips dont mix
