So we reached Narkanda and it started raining as soon as we did. Managed to find a great room at a homestay and went out to grab a couple of shots before dinner and a few after dinner .

The next day we woke up early, had an amazing breakfast and set out for jalori pass. After a nice and long scenic ride on one of the best black top roads I have ever ridden on its a really bone jarring ride during last few kilometers before the pass, and as soon as we started climbing down my notion that going up is the hard part was completely shattered as the steep incline and no road completely smacked my wrists. And I had a fall too, while returning because of an overspeeding taxi which had a Delhi registration, no surprises there. It was one of the most comfortable falls I have had till date though, and luckily Rahul bhai was around to help me pick the bike up. The pass itself is not so great, at least for me. I consider Hatu peak to be way more picturesque though the villages and the whole ride till the pass is totally worth it.

Now this is more like it :



It was already dark before we reached back to Narkanda, and unfortunately we had to drop the plan to do hatu peak. But then later we decided to head out early in the morning to hatu before leaving for Delhi. Turned out to be a very good decision. As those who have been to Hatu would know that its way steeper than jalori pass and we did it when it was pitch dark. One of the best experiences ever !!
