It was a pleasantly chill Sunday morning that welcomed us. As we packed our saddlebag for the return ride we took a final look at the hills and the lazily floating clouds. It’s been a truly pleasant weekend break we really looked forward to the ride back.

The ‘shortcut’ return ride via Theppekadu was always a great way to descend the hills. With the sharply curved 36 hairpin bends which always brought on the adrenaline rush. It gets over too soon and before we realize it we are into the Mudumalai forest. A hot cup of tea at Masinagudi and then it’s into Bandipur and on to the highway

Luckily, the weekend traffic returning to Bangalore is not as bad as we expected and after an early lunch at Mysore we are soon back home.

Until the next ride..
Cheers & Ride Safe!
