Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

        The Day of the Ride
We met at Mehdipatnam at around 7 a.m. Total distance to Srisailam: 220kms.
Had some tea and smokes, started off by 7:15. Crossed the butter smooth GMR Airport Road into a 4 lane highway. The 4 lane ended after 10-15kms. And tapered into a 1+1 State Road with no dividers. Weather was cool enough, roads were fine but speeds were restricted.
Started seeing some greenery and my spirits started lifting.

All 3 bikes with more or less similar power, we trudged on for about 100kms. Till we came to Dindi Dam.

I now felt, there could be no more appropriate bikes to do this kind of ride!
Thank you God, for giving me this wonderful day!
        Going corner happy!

Reached the Dam by about 1:30 p.m. The gates were not open but the view was awesome, nevertheless.

We stayed close together, negotiating the oncoming traffic and making our way ahead. After sometime, I started enjoying this too and wishing we could ride like this for another few hours! Stopped for tea and biscuits at a small town and then rode non-stop from there to city.
Crossed the Airport Road and said our final Byes, to reach our respective homes by about 10 p.m.

It was really a wonderful experience to have spent a day on the saddle with like minded, mature riders.
We will surely ride together again!

        Some Reflections
        :
There are times when we do 450kms. In 6-7hrs. straight on a 4 lane highway and feel quite happy about it. We even brag about our top speeds.
But, given a choice, I would do this kind of a narrow forest route again and again, not just for a change, but for the sheer thrill of it.

Yes, it feels great to do a proper 400+kms. ride after a long time.
I have done a few recently like Warangal, Pocharam, etc. but they're not really worth mentioning!
