  • [Photo Feature]: Bikers of Assam rides to Namdapha Tiger Reserve & National Park, Arunachal

After the first roadtrip of Bikers of Assam to Lake of No Return, Myanmar " http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/2...n-myanmar.html "we went to Parashuram Kund, Arunachal " http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/2...what-ride.html "on our second roadtrip. Our members were very excited for our third road trip but the big question was where next & when ??

I know a short ride of 40-50 Km will not satisfy our bikers even we cant keep along tour for two or three days as most of our bikers were either students or employed. Therefore we have to keep a day long tour to some exotic location 150-250 Km away.

We discussed about our next destination everyday. Finally one of our member Abhijit suggested about visiting Miao, Arunachal. When I started together information about Maio the first thing that attracted me was the Namdapha Tiger Reserve & National Park, Arunachal

    NAMDAPHA,
a Tiger Reserve and National Park, a true wilderness and enchanting beauty of lush green vegetation, impenetrable pristine and virgin forests covered an area of 1985.23 square kilometres having diverse flora and fauna lies in theinternational border between India and Myanmar(Burma) within Changlang District in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in the northeast India.

Namdapha National Park is located at a few kilometer away from Miao amidst misty blue hills along the turbulent Noa-Dihing river lies in the sprawling tropical rain forest. It was declared as Tiger Reserve by the Government in 1983.

    MIAO

This beautiful and small town is headquarter of Miao sub-division and situated at bank of River Noa-Dehing. The interesting things to see are Mini zoo, museum, Tibetan refugee settlement where colorful woolen carpets of various designs are produced, oil drilling at Kharsang and Manabum.

    To be continued...

Hello bondhu,, seems like you are doin' a lot of rides, good to see the enthusiasm. In other words, I get to see a lot of familiar terrain though your logs. Keep'em coming.

No offence but I would like to advise a few pointers as a fellow biker:
Please format your post accordingly; there is nothing like a good presentation to read. Many riders might not be able to visit those places in your photos but everyone's interested in gettin' a GOOD glimpse followed by an explanatory log. You have covered some of the best grounds in NE and there's a lot of way to showcase your achievements/endurance. And also, after spending long hours on Xbhp, almost daily, I am pretty sure that you're the only guy postin' beautiful logs on different parts of NE - thumbs up to that'!
My humble suggestion would be to go through a few travelogues (once again ) in 'The Tourer' section and check the formats (planning, itinerary, maps, adventures etc.)

PS - Apologies for the lecture.

Thank you for the compliments & the advice. If there is a particular format I will try to write it accordingly. Suggestion & constructive criticism is always welcomed. Our Northeast India is full of natural beauties & we are trying to showcase it in xbhp.

There is no particular format as such; all I meant was that it should be a decent & organized write-up(I, in no way, challenge your writing skills) BTW, your previous/recent logs are pending. Take some time out & arrange those. I/We are waiting. Thanx!!

              Hi all,

Another N.E. Triplog. It is a bonus.

Would be much more helpful if it is accompanied by a route map and day to day report with places to visit and stay.

If any permit is required for a particular route (then the papers reqd.) so that in case we plan a trip in your beautiful countryside, we are well prepared.
