  • Fuel Tanks Up & Munsiyari Down

This travelogue is all about having fun on Hills so images will be related to hills only, NO PLAINS. As it was an extended weekend for every one so many bikers were planning to go for Long trip, short trip or BFI. We were also doing the same thing & my fellow biker Akash called me up asking if I can join him for a trip to hills in his car. I gave it a thought & replied I would love to join on my Bike. He also agreed however he was also interested to go on road trip on bike so he decided to be on two wheels, then our friend Dinesh also joined us. We took 3 days to plan this trip however destination was not confirmed till the time of road trip beginning. Now we three had to hit the road(PAWAN, AKASH & DINESH). Bikes were Duke 390, CBR 250 & R15 respectively.

On 2nd October 11:00 PM we met at very famous meeting place for Delhi xBhpian that is called xBhp Dhaba. We were thinking to start at 1:00 AM 3rd October however after 11:30 PM 2nd October we were not able to control ourselves & decided to leave at that very moment. We decided to cover maximum plain asap so we tried to go as far as possible in first stretch & took fist stop at Bikaner Gajraula. (Not a single pic clicked there).

    DAY 1
After some stomach filling we again started & at 6:00 AM 3rd October we
found ourselves in Haldwani & decided to take a POWER NAP.

We stayed that for almost 2.5 hours & got recharged with Tea, Fruit cake, Cookies & Coffee. Then again we hit the road to one of the heaven on earth. (Destination still not confirmed). We selected our route to Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary & were amazed to see the beauty around. After being amazed I thought clicked my mind & said Pawan you are caring a camera, click some photos. So we started our on road photo session on the way to Binsar.

Roads till Entry of Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary were amazing & we had fallen love with that road. We didnt want that road to end (If it was feasible). After entering Sanctuary we rode on tarmac for approx. 1 km & then raods were vanished & we were had to ride on full offroad hill to guest house of Sanctuary. Road was full of gravel, dirt & alge. It was a bit hard to handle that terrain.During this path we say Golden Langur, Few unknown Birds & unseen trees & plants. We became so damn hungry & tired till the time (2PM) we reached the guest house that we had our lunch & slept again.

At 4PM we strated again & Rathi proposed for Night stay at Bagheshwar. During this stretch from Binsar to Bagheshwar An Ertiga driver helped us by leading the way with some high speed on hills. We reached Bagheshwar at around 6PM & decided to stay at TRH (Tourist Rest House).

Then we went to market had our food & crashed on our hotel room.

Note: TRH (Tourist Rest House) is not a nice place to stay if you have females in your group.

    DAY 2 4th October 2014

I woke up early in the morning & decided to explore the place & only I know what Akash & Dinesh missed.

After too much of laziness finally Akash & dinesh woke up & said "YAAR HUM TOH LATE HO GAYE". Around 9:30 PM we started towards Chaukori for our Breakfast. At the ending of Bageshwar we thought of clicking some photos again.

After having dinner at Chaukori we headed Thal. Those roads were one of the most amaizing roads I have seen so far because of Nature around. We did some leaning photo session also there.
