  • In & Around Lavasa

After spending almost entire night @ office, I dumped the idea of hitting bed. Started in dark towards Lavasa to greet Sun a very good morning. Also got a chance to ride my bike into Lavasa township. Picture from a wonderful morning.

    First set of pictures.

    Sunrise viewed through wild flowers.

View from Lavasa Top, just before Sun was about to come out.

CBZ Standing at the bottom of Lavasa township. Towards Warasgaon end.

While I was sipping on Tea, I found this young chap making the most of the early morning warm Sun rays.

@Sagar: Thanks. They don't allow two wheelers inside as its still a under construction site but you can see plenty of people moving around on two wheelers inside. They mostly are either locals or people working in the township. Regarding how I got inside? Let that be a secret only, don't want to loose my entry into Lavasa.

Well good for you man. I am dying to go inside because I have heard that the 5km stretch from the entrance to Lavasa city is even better than the road till the entrance.

@Inder: Thanks . Nope, this is the bridge on Warasgaon backwater. You have to be in Lavasa township to see this. Its not visible at all from Mutha, for that matter, can't be seen even from the entrance to Lavasa.

@Sagar: Yes, the road is good but since it leads to under construction site, there is enough water/gravel/mud in some of the corners to surprise a two wheeler rider who might be gunning hard through that corner. Stretch before Lavasa gate, any day for me over the stretch inside, until the construction is over.
