We traveled to Gandikota, Andhra Pradesh, India.

This place, as we had heard of, was known as the Grand Canyon of India, with the gorgeous river water cutting through mammoth sized, chiseled rocks. We did not trust Google much, on seeing the images that were put up there. (I could definitely not believe the beauty). We had to actually go to this place to find out the truth.

We reached, and there we had it, in front of our naked eyes... The gorgeous river stream, the ever so beautiful rocks, and also, the magnificent fort along -side...
Also, at a not so far distance were the Belum Caves. This (as the tour guide told us) was supposed to be the second largest underground cave in the world! This being said, one has to admit that the caves are really gorgeous! The giant Buddha statue somewhere near the entrance to the premises also stands so grand, majestic and tall, in the peaceful serenity.

A lovely experience this was. A must visit place for that biker who wishes to explore roads less traveled, and places less visited.
