  • Our first taste of Freedom...

Hello friends, my name is Gautam Narvane and I present you all my first travelogue of xbhp. I am not a writer sort of guy so spare me for my grammatical errors but I truly want to share my story about my first road trip on a two wheeler (yes a two wheeler specifically because this trip was covered on mopeds and not on proper bikes ). So before telling you about this road trip let me introduce myself and my friends.

th grade in school. Back then He used to know almost everything cars. During his school days his favorite car was a Toyota Corolla (His dad owned one) and used he to brag about its automatic gearbox and we chaps used to patiently hear his commentary.

th of December, 2013) we four friends came up with a plan to travel somewhere on our mopeds . Back then I had a old Bajaj wave 2005 model which I had bought 2ndstst of December (Bhubaneswar-Konark-Puri-Bhubaneswar) 200 kms One Epic Journey
3 ordinary teenagers 2 ordinary mopeds ( One EXTRAORDINARY Combination)

We started out at 7:30 am and after filling up petrol in our bikes we touched the highway. Starting early in the morning has its advantages, there is no traffic and one can ride keeping his head cool, plus mornings are always quiet and beautiful may it be summer or winter so one can enjoy the scenery equally with the pleasure of riding. The route was scenic with lush green fields on both the sides of the highway, the road . We could see the Dhauli Stupa covered in haze. We three were damn excited because for the first time in our lives we were experiencing the freedom. The wind took away all my exam tensions, all sorts of worries and all I wanted was to ride and ride. That day I understood why bikers call this activity a medicine, a remedy for all their worries. We were maintaining a constant speed of 50-55 kmph and by 10:30 am we reached Konark. The first thing I did was called my mom and tell her that I had reached Konark safely. After taking a stroll around the magnificent Sun temple and clicking some photographs, we headed out for Konark beach. As expected the beach was majestic. With deep blue ocean water, golden sand, and the sparkling seashells it was picture perfect!!!
