This is my first thread which I decided to write after reading q lot of travelslogues and threads . .which made me quiet good at bikes and travelling.

Myself Jeevan ,working in a company and interested in all the normal things what a youngster is interested in.

I was only enthusiastic about phones until I came across Xbhp around couple of years and was a silent member.

Then the itch for long rides started but I didn't own a bike yet then.

Finally wen I got the job it was nightshift and I needed a bike so it should just be a commuter and ended up with Suzuki slingshot in just a day.

Well being a commuter it can't do such. Long trips as I read on this forum.

Fast forward 8 months.
Was just discussing about any outing at ofrice and as always first was nandi hills.

I didn't mind nandi hills but I did some google and finally I thought of gopal swamybetta(Mysore) 220 kms. My office friends didn't wanted a 500kms ride in a day trip.

So I came up with night trek for skandagiri and all accepted.

We decided in 4 bikes 8 people but some wanted to boos and one of my friend was ready to bring his car and another friend dropped out.

It was 7 people and 1 car so we decided 1 bike and a car. Which bike??[emoji15] not a 125cc. But another friends Duke 200.

We started around 9pm from banashankari and we took the ring road to hebbal as we wanted to pick people on the way. All the pick up took till 11pm near kalyan Nagar and last pickup fellow had the duke.

So everyone knew I am gonna ride the bike as the bike owner vasanth had already decided he wanted to booze.

Took the bike and a pillion and we started towards Hyderabad highway and I was crusing at 80s and was waiting for the car to turn up. We stopped after hebbal as our great car owner madhusudhan didn't have his dinner and how at 11.45 where in high way will we get a hotel stopped near some small hotel who only had parotas had some and was off to skandagiri.

We reached there in around 45 minutes and time was 12.30.

First thing every guide over there tells is its banned and you should not go from the main entrance and I knew this and went directly near the main entrance and called the car to come as there was no problem.

Parking was 50rs for bike and 100rs for car. We have to pay it even if u are parking it next to road.[emoji16] so paid it and started to climb the hill.

The trek is moderate and we had torches, enough water to cook around 5-7 double packets of mqggie and milk to make coffee.

We completed the trek in a around 2hrs and reached top at 3 am.

We had people getting totally exhausted during trek and our car driver cum owner madhu carried their bags to make them reach the top.

We put up camp fire and cooked maggiee as we were totally tired and named it as madhusmaggiee[emoji12] as he was the one who bought all the ingredients.

I have to say about madhu. He is such a person who will support or stand on with you until you are against him[emoji13] . if you are against him you can never win any arguments unless he wants you to win. and there is no day at office we don't quarrel with him about any small things.


After rest of 3 hours it was time for photo sessions and yes the sun rise is mesmerising and the tiredness of the nights trek is completely gone with the view u see.

The sun above the mountains and the clouds which cover the full land except for the peak you are standing on.

Its a cloud sea.

We could make some quiet hot coffee and had the chance to sip it while the sun rose above the clouds the ultimate feeling of having a coffee around fog.

Maybe penultimate I want to have coffee around a snowy place[emoji5] .

We started to climb down at 8 and reached below by 9.30 and immediately left for bangalore.

Well I was riding the duke back again and did triple digit speeds until my pillion freaked out and was complaining to slow down we returned back in around 1hr 15 mins and I gave the duke to vasanth and went to car who dropped me to. House.

We have decided to do some weekend rides every month and myself planning a new 150cc+ bike and saving for the dream ride as you all know for to the worlds top motorable road.

The photo sessions were completely oriented on us this is time hence I am posting only some good ones.next time gonna keep some photos only for xbhp
