Continued....The planning.

Every trip needs a start and a route. After I bought my beast I wanted to do a long trip. Then I met akash through Knogs who wanted to do the same.

In Jan I got my call for SSB at bhopal. Everything was put aside and I went to attend the ssb. Life was about to be changed....


I cleared my 5 days of nail biting Interviews and got recommended. It was time was celebration and planning. another 6 days of medicals and stuff and I returned home.

After consulting with Akash we primarily planned to do GQ which got shot down to south India as the budget was disapproved by the Financier aka dad. Then IBW happened I rushed to IBW after deciding to go there the night preceding the fest. Now that another story.

I came back from IBW and then it was the torturous wait for the merit list as I wanted to be sure of joining the army before I go on the trip. At the ned decided to go without it. That is the kind of tension you get when you get recommended.

So we met over a cup of coffee at the Cafe coffee day narsapura, short ride by itself to finalize the plan. Its 40 odd kms with only two speed breakers in between and gentle curves. The preliminary route is below.



So once it got decided it was time for preparations for the same.

The major points decided.
Budget: 25,000.
Riding: from dawn to dusk. No night riding. we stop wherever night comes preferably in a city.
Itinerary:
1. Brake cleaner.
2. Chain cleaner.
3. Chain Lube.
4. Foot pump.
5. Puncture Kit.
6. Tools.
7. Rain Gear.
8. Clothes and toiletries.
9. Bungee cords.
10. Chargers and cables.
11. Action cameras. Now when we started planning yi camera happened and we decided to get our hands on them for the trip. We somehow purchased them but life happens and it git stuck at hongkong customs. We first thought lets wait for the cams but soon realized that it might be very late so lets just forget them and use our phones for the pics.


Everything was done and ready. We both completed our second service. My friends was incredulous. Its been two months and already second service done. It might sound funny but when it comes to big bikes its very unusual. Well the time arrived and we slept off to await the next morning when we ride off.

Nice trip there bro. But you could have waited till June for this, Rainy season driving in Kerala is really nice. But you have got other priorities too...Ride safe

The trip is completed and we never visited kerala. lol tlog still incomplete. :P

SSB means Service Selection Board its a big long interview to get into Defence Forces @rx100.7050
