Thank u so much , for your kind attention your detail yo every query has left both of us indebted. Vinu , but if both of us determined will it still be possible for us to do Nubra - Pangong. I do not want to sound stubborn , but is it worth taking chance.
Following your que we have done some advance reservations for stay.

I think the stone structure is some kind of ritual practice in hill regions. Not sure what exactly is that.
I got the GoPro from tappers Bangalore. Not sure if they have store in your place. Please check tappers.com site

          Hi,
Then you can follow your instinct. But please be careful and also try to get to know some bikers group and go with them. Atleast for this stretch.

          Good luck.

            Hello Friends,

I am really happy that the number of views for this thread is increasing every day. Not taking much time, I will continue with the 9th day of our expedition.

Day 9 : 26th July(LEH-Drass via Kargil, 300kms) cheap room. The name is Danish resorts but definitely not a resort though. Had super dinner and called for the day.

Day 10: 27th hotel in Srinagar. So we directly went there. It is too much inside the town. The driving there by locals is too rash. Every moment we had to be alert. Finally we could locate the room and boarded there. We were the only customers there. All the residents were looking us strangely as though we were from some other planet. Took some rest. Had some food. In the evening we took an auto and went to dal lake. We were in no mood to take a boat ride. Just did a street walk and had some delicious dosas. We went back to room and called for the day.

            Day 14: 31st July(Amritsar-Hamirpur, 230kms)
            Day15: 1st Aug( Hamirpur-Manali, 240kms)

Had some breakfast and left the place. After some time it started raining. The riding was bit difficult as it was raining and also the road was curvy and the condition of the road was not that great. On the way close to manali, had lunch and left again. Took many breaks in between as we wanted to prolong our riding as much as possible. By 5pm, we reached the Final destination of the expedition Manali. We again went to the same hotel where we had taken the first day. Got the same room for 1k. Unpacked all the bags, got freshened up and gave back the bikes to the sno peak retreat hotel guy. Also complained him about the problems we faced with the bike. But no response from him. Later we booked the bus tickets the next day to Delhi which was at 4pm. Went back to room and called for the day.

Day 16: 2nd Aug (Manali- Delhi, Bus, ETD: 4pm, ETA: next day 6am)

Day 17: 3rd Aug ( delhi to Bangalore by flight. ETA: 8pm)

            Happy riding.
            Keep Thumping.
