I still can remember like yesterday, these songs were in the top of our car pendrive.
Whenever she used to start the engine and the 1st song played in music system in her Tata indica eV2, yes I miss those drives .. Mostly I used to sit as co-driver only as I knew she was better driver than me ..


Her last word were "jemon aachis,temon thakbi.live your life in your own style, jeta tui amai sikhiyechhili" :'(


Translation: "be as you are, be yourself,live your life in your way, thats what you taught me even"...

I was not riding long mostly fr little long time ... Even I gloves were torn by crazy rats .


Sid's xcd125 is actually a rented bike which we picked up in very cheap price but it was in worse than pathetic condition .
It took nearly 3days continuous work to make it good to ride .
Chain kit,chain tensioner, clutch plates, clutch case , engine mount bolts ,55/60watt headlight, new engine oil,oil filter,airfilter, 2 new spark plug,carb clean and engine diesel flush converted it into crazy machine


So he wanted to hit the road for a trip with me , but we didn't plan anything ..


Friday evening I went to meet an old friend and his family as they came to my city , had dinner with them .
I bough my gloves and a raincote for Sid as it might rain ..


I came back to hostel/mess room at 11pm .


Me: sid ,chal .lets go to kodai
Sid:hmm, how long its gonna take ?
Me: if we leave now then we'll reach there tom morn 9-10am
sid:give me 30mins bhai..
Me: sure let me pack too.


We started ride mid night 1am I guess, little bit drizzle welcomed us on vellore-krishnagiri stretch.
But as sid hit the highway after long time and he does not have regular highway experience and more over drizzle made him a slow rider .
We reached krishnagiri in 3hours against regular time of 1hours 45mins for me ..
Anyway why to think much while on highway .. We took tea and rode towards salem and continued to dindigul ..
Ride was mostly uneventful and slow ..

Somewhere in didndigul we had heavy breakfast at 11-12 noon..


Before hitting the hill police stopped us 2 times and they always expect a long motorcycle rider will be
1.costly fired bikes with lots of riding gears looking like alien
or 2. Riding RE with truck lods of luggage


No offence it just those stupid cops point of view
Anyway after little chit-chat with them we continued to kodaikannal .
Everytime they warned us about heavy rain but that never happened..

Afterthat we started budget hotel hunting and settled for 750rs , and then slept like baby .....................

After noon we woke up and went outside into a small road side hotel , had late lunch with regular south indian food ..
Then we left to explore a bit here n there , went till bus stop and found lots of chocolate shop , and we were like "DIL GARDEN GARDEN HO GEYA "
Any way I packet some for me and my research guide (sir) ad sid packed enough for himself and some for his gf .


Later entered into Coakers Walk .

We just wanted to ride that double seated cycle as we never had before ..
Surely it was a hell of a experience ;D

Packed light dinner and went to room, called it a day . Sid was bit tired as he rode long after super long time .


We planned to explore those tourist places nearby and leave towards vellore ..


Next day morning we woke us , freshened up and hit the road again..

An incident I forgot to say before :
While nearing dindigul (on going journey) Sid suddenly shouted something to me , I could not understand .
Sid came near and said "your bike is smoking hard" , and my face was like some one stole my kidney .
We stopped road side ..
I knew smoking means it gonna seize soon , and I was thinking "fu*k this bike is giving me too much trouble, some days ago stator burned , now this without any sign before, how its possible ? though odo was somewhere near 78k+kms .."
Then calmed down and though the worst possibility ,which is transporting bike by somehow train or bus .
After 5 mins I tried kicking the bike , behaved normal, it has enough compression . ok so problem is somewhere else , removed spark plug found NGK irr is fouling hard , swapped with spare plug, detuned carb a bit for lean mix and reved hard .Found less black smoke , so cylinder + piston rings are fine , means I can complete the trip (another 1000-1200kms atleast) if I don't rev much (unlike my style) .. Engine oil level was bit low and I was cursing myself as I didn't take extra oil in my dikki-side box..
Added more 2t in petrol tank and continued journey ..


Ok no issues and continued the trip ... later before coming back journey I bough 1/2 liter engine oil from kodai bus depot's shop , and topped it up ..
Anyway we finished the trip without any bike issue .. Bike is still running same with odo at 93k+ kms ..


So what happened that day with my bike??
1.cat-con failed (poor bajaj quality + 2t usage )
2.New NGK irr plug was some how not matching the needed heat range, may be that was a duplicate one, so fouled hard always .Now I hav thrown it away >


Coming back to t.log..


Me and sid both don't have much knowledge even after that we entered into a botanical research center , can't remember the name though.. :P

Berijam lake was out of our plan as they don't allow 2wheelers , and where my p125 can't go , im not going for sure ..
