As far as I remember, I have traveled on the following highways:

North India
NH-1
NH-1D (Srinagar - Kargil - Leh) - Not on bike but in an never ending Army convoy.
NH-56

East or rather North-East India
NH-40
NH-44
NH-52

West India
NH-50

That's all I can remember as of now.

NH3 Bhiwandi- Dhule (4 yrs hostel life)

NH50- Pune- Nasik
NH222- Murbad- ahmednagar
NH8- Mumbai- Baroda.

There are a few more like Guwahati to Jorhat and Guwahati to Agartala. But i think these aren't NH but are maintained by BRO.

Other than the above I rode in NH-3 & NH-10 for around 20 kms each.

Of all this highways NH-22 wins hands down in terms of sheer riding pleasure you get followed by NH-2 since it was my first long ride on any of the highways.

NH-4 is the fastest of all the highways I have travelled till date.
NH-24 is the worst in terms of traffic congestion and unruly drivers.

Hoping to add another 10 new highways in this list in one year from now.

The day is not far when you can claim to have a unique distinction of ridden on all the NH's of India!! Go for it man!!

I would love to.But I guess there will some highways where I will never ride like some in Bihar.
