Lord of Streets to Hogenakkal Waterfalls
Again a Solo Ride to Hogenalkal Waterfalls( One Day Ride)
Trip Details:
Bike: Yamaha Fz-S (Battle Green)
Kilometer : 700
Route: Chennai - Vellore - Krishnagiri - Dharmapuri - Hogenakkal - Chennai
Hogenakkal Falls is a waterfall in South India on the river Kaveri. My family has planned to go there but due to some reasons we cancelled the trip a day before but i want to go there I am sure tommorow we can there i planned to go there by bus but at that time no bus will be there. so i planned to move in bike one week before i serviced my bike in CX3 Racing my favourite mechanic in chennai. Asked permission from parents and everything has been packed and ready to go at morning 3.30 Am.
Started the ride at 3.30 Am sharply and filled petrol in koyambedu. Till maduravoyal the roads are very bad after that a three Lane road and i like it very much constantly riding at the speed of 80Km/hr. stopped for a coffee break at Arcot and had a wonderful hot coffee there. Started again while traveeling both sides are surronded by mountains and an amazing view I like this highway very much bcoz all vechiles maintaing Lane Discipline and also exicted to see such thing in India.
Next stop will be Vaniyambadi for another coffee I am coffee addict. Though it is early morning unable to travel more than 100 km at a time bcoz insects hitting on the visor and also cold temperature while reaching vaniyambadi sun rises up and I planned to stop next at Dharmapuri for Breakfast. Reached Dharmapuri at 8.20 AM and had a breakfast in hotel and give rest to my fingers and butt for 10 more min.
Again started travelling and now hitted in to the state highways and travel at a low speed due to monday morning all going for school i have to travel slow and reached the Hogenakkal checkpost and got a entry slip and started travelling in the ghat roads. Everytime i enter into the ghat road i feel so much enthusiastic and the curves welcomes me more enjoyed very much in the ghat road and reached the hogennakal.
Indian coracles Boating
Coracles boating also called parasial (in tamil) boating. I am single so i planned to get a single boat to travel and here it is a mid noon time so its too hot and travelled in boat to so many falls but unable to bath so went to the another side to meet a small waterfalls and make a small bath and had a boat snacks got from another boat and its seems to be very intersecting and then went to another land region to see whats there. Many womens selling fresh fish and my toungue is mouth watering and then tasted fish and then back to the waterfalls.
Hogenakkal Waterfalls
I am eager to see the waterfalls so went there and seen the fall i am unable to bath now a problem araised where to keep my bag so check in for a room in the nearby hotel and the rent will be low there for A/C room just 1000 rupees so changed my dress and went to the waterfalls there so many people massaging so me too get massaged and enjoyed there lot and the fish in the waterfalls bites me mulitple time. Had a wonderfull lunch at 2.30 Fish fry, Meals with Fish curry amazing taste.
It's time to take rest a little so went to room and take rest for two hours and then had a coffee and then came to chennai at 11 PM. The ride end with peace and time to sleep bye meet you in next masinagudi ride with puducherry and cuddalore bikers club....
