    Yatishankar, you need permits to travel to border line areas, like a few in ladakh...called the inner line permits or ILP. Himachal is permit free for nationals, so u can ride anywhere in HP, provided its rideable

              HAHAHAHA. you ride with MR. PUNEET SINGH from INFY... he is a funny thing. tell him Amber yaad karda si. i hope this man did not break his Clutch wire or the brakes did not fail for him this time like it did enroute LEH.
