well thats true.. I had some real fun with the chennai mates during the first year of my college. The vocabularies were totally different

But all this aside, I am editing the thread title to reflect the English translation. There is a general rule that vernacular language posting is frowned on here.. Many people would not understand it.

Thanks MG and cloud pic was a casual click didnt know it will come good. The main difference I noticed from the Digi to SLR is the depth of the image. In my cam how much ever I try I dont get it.

And ya thanks for reminding me, got soe time now will complete the log

                      day 2 logs ready

                      Ullasa paravaigal - Eddakal caves

The mileage of my comet is worth mentioning. I got a stunning 32.5Kmpl. I used to get 31.5 kmpl before the leh trip. Then once the battery became low, it dipped to 27kmpl. Now I run on a imported battery(9Ah). The bike can start with the HID on The recitifier output on idle is 14V so charging too is good.

Nice trip Prabhu.... The pics look great. Just one doubt, how is ur battery change affecting the mileage?

Yup, it can never do it in terms of maintenance..

                                Thanks Dude,
Well thats the interesting question, I guess -
When the battery/rectifier unit is good, the rectifier output is max (14V) at idling and decreases as the RPM increases, but never went below 12.8V.
When the battery is low or at its end of life, more power is used by the rectifier unit to charge the battery. So more load on the alternator unit, so more load on the engine.

I not sure if the above reason justifies the question, will be happy if someone proves me wrong. But for sure when the Battery is at its end, the mileage decreases for a DC circuit bike. Eg: Akhil's R1.
