Pulicat island is in tamilnadu. From Chennai it will be 65km approx. Pulicat island is called as pazhaverkadu. Birds sanctuary.

Some correction . Pulicat lake is around 100 Kms from chennai and most of the part comes under AP .
Also Sriharikota is the good place to visit if you have a proper authorized passes to see the space Center.
