Re: Peace amidst the concrete jungle
Yeah, all photos were taken from the helmet cam except the selfie which was taken from my mobile. SJ4000 pics come out ok, but it's the videos where it really shines.Originally posted by hypheni View PostOnce again a bunch of good pictures. Are these pictures taken from your camera mounted on helmet?Love ur Ride and keep it maintained, its what brings u safely back to home

Yeah, you are right monk. It was just me with the helmet. It's nearly impossible to persuade her to wear a helmet for short distance rides. [emoji19] . And again it's impossible to win an argument with the wife[emoji14].Originally posted by The Monk View PostTravelogue Approved

about the placement of your gopro, it seems quite far behind, doesnt the visor come into the frame all the time? (im looking for suggestions of the cam fitment. )Originally posted by Aurobindo View PostYeah, all photos were taken from the helmet cam except the selfie which was taken from my mobile. about your wife not wearing a helmet, i don't know how much this would work in your case, but i flatly refuse to go doubsies if my gal pals do not wear the offered helmet. the prospect of walking / not going to the destination is enough stimulant for them to comply

Re: Peace amidst the concrete jungle
Yeah, ur right in the camera placement department. The mount is way back coz of the visor in the front. I normally set the camera a bit upwards to avoid the visor in frame. I didn't want a side-mount so had no option. For compensation I had one mount recently put in on the tank. This allows both hands and Speedo along with road to come into the frame. Also you have the Leg guard, but I found the camera vibrates too much at that point.Originally posted by Kos View Postabout the placement of your gopro, it seems quite far behind, doesnt the visor come into the frame all the time? on the tank? so was the picture very jittery on tank top videos? then the bike's HUD would come in the way wouldn't it?Originally posted by Aurobindo View PostYeah, ur right in the camera placement department.
