  • Foggy and Energetic ride from Tirupati to Bengaluru

    My first travelogue in xBHP

Tirupati is my hometown, and I live in Bengaluru, ever since I got addicted to wanderlust I ditched taking public transport. Did some 7 rides from Bengaluru to Tirupati so far, but this one was so special.

I started to Tirupati on Jan 8th morning around 7:45 a.m, ride was good, as usual, and that route is routine for me. Road was not good after Chittoor due to the recent rains but they fixed it this time, most part. Reached home around 12:45 p.m, with a long break in between just to relax.

Usual stuff at home and I rode to Nellor on 9th Jan, ~140 km from Tirupati, it was a single road till Naidupeta and then it's the NH 5 till Nellor, beautiful tarmac. Met a friend there and came back to Tirupati on the same day evening, the road passes next to several farm fields and after reaching home I had a look at my helmet, it was like below Oddly, I was able to see the road fine, had no problems.

Office next day, most of my return rides to Bengaluru were on night times, usually starts at 9/10 p.m. This time I started on Jan 10th early (nest day) morning around 3 a.m because of the Nellor ride, took some rest till 2:30 a.m at hometown and started off to Bengaluru.

I must say, I might prefer early morning rides going forward in winter, all because of the below picture.

Fog started from Palamaner and it was zero visibility till Kolar, this is NH 4, usually I hit more than 100 km/h but I had to maintain a steady speed of 50 km/h or less due to the fog. Nevertheless, one of the energetic rides I had.
