  • Kolkata to White Desert (Rann of Kutch)

Recently we came across this bunch of riders from the city of joy, Kolkata. These guys call themselves Wolves On Wheels and can be seen riding some of the most exotic bikes available in the country. But what makes them special is that they are not just coffee-shop-on-a-Sunday-morning riders, but have done some serious long distance riding on these unforgivable machines, like a group ride to Rann of Kutch and a ride to snow-laden roads of Leh-Ladakh! We've had a chance to clock some long miles on these kind of big machines too and we know that this is not an easy task at all. The challenges are much bigger on these big machines - most notably their unforgiving power, often unsuitable riding posture for long distance riding, and nonavailability of backup/service in case of a machine failure. And since xBhp has always thrived to promote motorcycling as a leisure tool, we always try to bring these stories to our readers so that more & more people get inspired by them! So here's a story of Wolves on Wheels' ride to Rann of Kutch from Kolkata and back. If you like it, do let us know in the form of your comments below and you can also follow these amazing riders on their facebook page Wolves On Wheels

What a log! What makes the ride more special is that this was done on machines which were not intended for touring!

Fabulous ride indeed, thanks for sharing. Congratulations to all the riders for making an epic ride which I'm sure will be etched as a rich memory forever. Good to see such lovely bikes being put through their paces instead of pottering around in cities. It would be of particlar interest to me if the riders can share with us as to how each bike performed, comfort factor etc.

Great pictures and indeed a wonderful riding group. We had the pleasure to meet them & dine with them when we halted in Kolkata in our return journey from Sikkim. Thank you guys for your hospitality and we sure hope to catch up again in near future.

          Some great pics there...
Once I have donned my black helmet, I become anonymous. My face ceases to identify me. My black visor shields others from the rigours of my passing glance while shielding me from their attempts to peer into my soul. I am an anonymous rider shrouded in black. I am no longer a specific self. I am a passing Traveller.

              Lovely!

Nice to see people use such bikes in the right manner, maybe except for Z1000! All others are proper mile munchers. Totally love the way they carried on with the trip and I must congratulate the photographer(s) for capturing some amazing angles.
