    [Photo Feature]: Magnificent Uttarakhand_2016 [Solo]

    Throughout 2015, I was focusing on JK and Himachal.
    Now, it's time for magnificent Uttarakhand. Going solo again.

    For this ride, I am carrying a message for all Indians...
    "Let's make India safe, for women"

    I don't know what's waiting for me, but I am thrilled...

            From my past 10 years of riding experience in Uttarakhand, I can confidently say that you gonna love riding here and found the people here very peaceful, simple and helping .
            Do contact me if you require any help near Haldwani/Nainital region, or just need a place to crash in haldwani !!!
            Safety is a Cheap and Effective Insurance Policy !!!

              Although, India is not known for liberal-minded society. But, times are changing.
              Gender discrimination makes no sense, never did.

              My way of life is traveling. I carried a message for my trip...
              "Let's make India safe, for women."

              I heard about Uttarakhand from my friends. It seemed, I had to visit this state some day.
              Some day is now, let's go...

              ~ Day #1 [ March 2, 2016] ~
              Destination: Rishikesh, Uttarakhand
              Route: NH-58
              Distance: 231 km

              There is absolutely no excitement riding in city.
              I was happy to leave Delhi behind, kept cruising to Rishikesh.

              Professional rafters do the rafting. You enjoy the roller coaster of fierce river waves. Inflated life-jackets are there to keep you safe.

              ~ Day #2 [ March 3, 2016] ~
              Destination: Ukhimath, Guptkashi, Rudraprayag, Narayankoti
              Route: NH-58
              Distance: 141 km


              I had lots of fun at Rishikesh.
              With happy memories, I moved forward towards Narayankoti via Ukhimath, Guptkashi, Rudraprayag.

                        Magnificent Uttarakhand_2016 [Solo] - Chapter#2

                        ~ Day #3 [ March 4, 2016] ~
                        Destination: Kedarnath, Gwaldam, Kasol, Almora, Nainital
                        Route: NH-87
                        Distance: 268 km


                        On day#3, I moved on towards Nainital from Narayankoti.

                        Narayankoti is a small settlement on way to Kedarnath.
                        I came to know, a permission is required to go to Kedarnath at this time of the year;
                        therefore I went as far as I could unitil Army guys stopped me.

                        After that, I decided to go to Nainital via Gwaldam, Kasol, Almora.
                        My final trip stay will be at Nainital.

                        After a while, Army turned me back as Kedarnath not accessible at this time of the year without permission.
                        I moved on towards Nainital.

                        Stayed at Nainital for the day; decended down to New Delhi the next day.


                        This was in fact a brief trip of small duration; although I have seen plenty of wonderful places.
                        I have completed my trip with a desire to come back again to explore higher altitudes of Uttarakhand, the far north places.
