    Help with the route to meghamalai from Chennai??

    Hi Guys,

    I have planned a 3 day ride to Meghamalai near thenni from Chennai, April 10th to April 12th.

    Anyone here who has done this ride, would appreciate some opinion on the route, road conditions, mechanic shops, total distance and places to visit in Meghamalai.

    I plan to ride out on thursday evening and get back by sunday evening.

      never been there but checked Wikipedia and looks interesting.route to theni will be chennai - dindivanam - ulundurpet - tirucht - dindukal - theni - Ask for directions.

        A good location there.. There are two routes:

        Chennai - Villupuram - Perambalur - Trichy - Sendurai - Melur - Madurai - Thirumangalam - Kallupatti - pudupatti - Meghamalai

        or

        Chennai - Villupuram - Perambalur - Trichy - Dindigul - Theni - chinnamanur - meghamalai

        Also, Try visiting Idukki Hill Station - heard its also a wonderful destination..
