The east coast of Odisha is full of some lost historical and forgotten places amidst natural beauty along with some magnificent beaches as well.So i have undertook a 2 days road trip covering some historical places,monuments and a beach.The idea was to beat the heat of the east coast by visiting some eye watering places.Just have a look.

Ratnagiri,Udaygiri,Lalitgiri-These are ancient buddhist excavated sites amidst some pictursque back ground.

Day-1:
Places covered:Ratnagiri,Udaygiri,Lalitgiri,iron bridge of Jakodia.

Description of the places:Ratnagiri,Udaygiri,Lalitgiri are ancient excavated Buddhist sites which are no less than Hampi or Khajuraho.
Jakodia Bridge is a long forgotten 151 years old iron bridge made by the britishers is one of its kind in India made up of huge Iron plates.
