We parked the steeds and took a stroll around. It was a pacifying sight to see the calm water mirroring the blue sky and the clouds. The beach like sand at the shore was a little warm and was quite comforting in the cold weather. Serenity in the environment was soothing especially after the doze of adrenaline. The calmness was suddenly disrupted by a loud noise of migratory birds. There were hundreds of them flocking together, flying high in formations, and probably talking/instructing each other that reached our ears as noise. Of course we the educated immediately initiated an intellectual discussion on why do these birds migrate. And of course we piled the beautiful atmosphere around with all the scientific reasons such as different seasons in different hemispheres and migrating for more favorable nesting conditions etc. I am sure the thought of ride back home helped us in concluding our discussion.

I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.
Ride often, ride well, have fun.

Simply superb I can go ahead and relate to your words from the time we had Lunch at Deepanshu and then till the time you landed in this beautiful place and then finally when you got hand on this beautiful Blue Storm . Wow I dont know what to say, speechless. You have been an idol for me for long and will always be. And knowing you for long time now, and learning from your travelogues, and discussing with you; I would say I am blessed to have a person like you with me, for which I am thankful. Though didnt get a chance to ride with you till now, but I am sure in coming days we will, someday for sure.

Without motorcycle I know you were getting restless and bored. And specially since the dhaba was not their and how to go to dhaba factor was also missing. I was very happy when I first got to know you have started looking for it, I knew you would get it soon. And then the "Blue Storm" came, you know I love naming the bikes. Well I would be following you here closely for any updates. Now keep this thread updated brother.

Ride Safe and Ride Hard brother,
Regards.

Shivanshu, I am truly humbled by your post. And I know how we both can co-relate on motorcycles and the meaning motorcycles have in our respective lives. I have had cherished each of our dhaba visits and the heart to heart talks. I miss it all.
Thank you so much for being a great friend, Inshallah we will ride together someday. May its time for a GER (Great European Roadtrip) to be planned

Re: A Beginning in the Eastern Europe

Got a bright and shining Saturday this last weekend, and we went out to make the most of it.
Though the spring is here, we continue to get intermittent rains. In fact it is hard to believe that it snowed in May on surrounding mountains.

Anyhow, here is a video we put together using a mobile camera that too mostly hand held. I hope you would pardon me for the poor quality.

Hopefully a proper ride will be planned soon
