Re: A quick ride to rann of kutch
The bike was and is awesome. Never felt short of power. Folks at Pune, especially service center manager, Roshan, who is no longer there, as a token of appreciation did not charge me anything and in fact ensured my whole experience at service center was pleasant and quick.Originally posted by drive_angry View PostHi brother.. could you please let me know how did the bike performed? Was it out of breath at anytime. Did you feel like you you use some more power?
Also, you said you got your chain checked from Pune, did they charge you or anything?
You have a way of playing with words. Awesome write up!
Thanks for your kind words

Re: A quick ride to rann of kutch
Thanks Vivek. Yes, I did go to work the very next morningOriginally posted by vivekiways View PostThat should've been one hell of a ride mate! I was exactly looking for something like this and your thread was a blessing in disguise. Regarding endurance, I've nothing much to say. You've set yourself an example for that. Cheers mate. On a lighter vein, did you go back to work the next day?

Thanks Divya.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostDang, how did I miss this thread?
Gurudev @experimentalhead, please except my shashtang koti koti pranaam.
I mean, endurance rides for most of us last for a day or two. You were on an endurance week, doing roughly 800+ km for 5 days! Wow. Lovely pics and simple, yet to the point narrative.
I see you just had a tank bag. I hope you carried enough undies but what about spare shirts and pants?
I did carry a back pack too with couple of jeans and tees too

Re: A quick ride to rann of kutch
Thanks a lot Madhav for your kind words. Really appreciate itOriginally posted by madhav766 View PostThat's a bloody good travelogue mate. I love your logging style - a brilliant balance of words and pictures. I never get tired reading your logs. I'm a big fan of your "Joy of riding" series. In fact, I derive a lot of inspiration for my rides from your travels only. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
I am too lazy to write, but you are slowly pushing me to start writing again. Looking forward to your next ride.

Thanks Bob. I save all my pics in Google photos. I also use Google photos/ Picasa web to edit. While sharing the pics over here, I use the google photos/ Picasa web link of each pic and save them.Originally posted by bobisbacktorock View PostNeedless to say, Amazing photos and very good narration.
O.T : How do your pics fit 100% to the screen while when I upload, they sometimes do not display full screen (occupy 100% in width). What is your photo resolution and file sizes before you upload them ? TIA.
