Trip to Aurangabad from Pune 250 kms of journey.
I was thinking for a long ride to test my Pulsar 200NS, but not getting the chance to go out. Finally got some work to Aurangabad and I thought this was the best chance to test my Pulsar200NS to full extent.The road was not new to me I had many solo bike rides on this road to my native place with my old 125cc machine.
Finally, I decided to leave early in the morning and changed my bike oil to Motul7100 20W50 2 days before journey and I was amazed to its results the oil made the engine really smooth. Gear changing was really smooth.The actual plan was to start at 5 am and reach my destination Aurangabad by 10:00 pm. (Around 250 km). But got little bit late in the morning and the actual start time was only at 5:30 am.
At 05:36AM: started from my place in Pune.
On the day there was a bit raining last night and also small drizzles were started at time, when I am going to leave. But not very much to stop me from riding. I just checked the fuel and it was enough to go out of the city so I decided to fill tank on petrol pump near Wagholi. I got my bike out of parking and allow the engine to heat up a bit. Here is the pic I have taken when I started my journey.
At 08:30AM: 22kms before Ahmedangar.
It was 8:30am, Now I was about to reach to Ahmedanagar its showing 22kms from the place I decided to a stop again to clean the helmet visor and check the bike. I checked my cellphone for any messages and checked the bike tyres and engine condition. And I was amazed to see it was not really too much of hot despite of running 100 to 120 for around 45 minutes. I thought I was going quite slow due to roads and the rain drizzles. Then I again started and decided not to stop before Aurangabad.
I ride into the small turning road with speed and it so good to feel the cornering was so easy on my pulsar200 ns 100kmph and I can take turns with minimum efforts without applying brakes. Wow...!! Bajaj has made a big difference with this powerful bike
. There is bypass road for Ahmednagar which I saw and thought to go by bypass or through city, but as I travelled much on this road I always prefer to go through the city and it was morning time so no more traffic disturbance, so decided to go through city and within 20 to 25 minutes I crossed it. And the weather becomes also pleasant no more chances of rain. Just after crossing Nagar I saw many bicycle riders, they are around 30 to 40 in numbers. Here is snap I took.
Finally, I ride through out 120kmph and managed to reached to Aurangabad at around 10.00am. I took a small brake just before the Aurangabad for 5 minutes and again entered the city MIDC area Waluj. While I was riding 2 boys with their pulsar220Fi saw me going fast and he started pull his bike. I thought it was good chance to see which is better so I also pulled the lever and in flash my bike swifts in front of his 220Fi but there was a signal ahead which was full by trucks and cars and bikes so he brakes his 220 and I pushed a little bit and I too pulled my bike breaks then he tuned somewhere from that corner.
At 10:15AM:
Speed: 130kmph TOP
120kmph for almost 1hr
Varying as the road condition speed breakers and traffic.
Mileage: I got a good mileage of 50kmpl and I was amazed, cause in city my bike tends to give me 35kmpl.
