This is the bike which I was talking about the precautionary clutch plate change at 1lak kms
Though few hundred kms short of official 1lak
But unofficially it will will be around 103***kms

Thanks . Due to landslides, there were many places I had to miss. Even manali route was opened a day before I started back, which was closed for 4 days. So it is still unfinished.
Meanwhile this happened on sunday.

Coming to story..

The beginning:

Like many bikers, I too had a dream of getting LEH'D. Saving money for the trip was always moving to 'NEXT MONTH'. During month of May, That one desperate moment hit me quite hard one day.


Next day..

Sagar : Dude, Listen.. I spoke to my parents.. They agreed.. We'll Go..
Me : WOW!!!
Sagar : Let's do it in August.
Me : I am super fine with it.. I'll apply for leaves..

As usual, gone through lot of travelogues to make a list of places to visit and route plans.
Shopping started along.

There was lot of buzz about taxi union incidents in leh. Land slides and cloud bursts in sonamarg and around leh region made us rethink about the trip.
Somehow, not convinced to cancel my trip.

Sagar is from Chandigarh. That is the reason we planned to start our ride from chandigarh. Plan is to send bikes to chandigarh.
Changed few cables and parts as a precautionary action.

A day before We pack our bikes, took off and went on a solo ride. Spent some time with my red. All feels comfortable. Gati near ecity handled our bikes pretty well.

Bikes reached sagar's house in 4-5 days.



The feeling when we are waiting for ride day to come..



Finally the day came.

1st August 2015

The date is very special for me. 3 years back on the same day, my lovely red came to my life.



Probably the best way to celebrate our anniversary.

Few clicks from the journey from bangalore to chandigarh.







Reached sagar's house around 1. Excitement dominated the powerful after lunch sleep. It was planned to reach talwara on that day which is around 200 kms away.

When I tried to fix the wind visor on my bike back which was taken out while packing the bike, the rubber bushes were slipped. Bit disappointment as I spoiled my bike's look .



It was late when we started, so no breaks for photos on the way. Reached Sagar's relative's house around 8. Had yummy home food and roamed around there and called it night.
