After relocating to Bangalore i decided to explore the entire south of India as this part of India offers a loads of natural beauties and breath taking views.So of which the majestic western Ghats is part.So this travelogue is a part of exploring the western ghats.The western Ghats of the country has densely packed high mountains,beautiful small villages and towns,dozens of hill stations,breath taking views,amazing ghats,splashing water falls.So this time i have covered the beautiful Scotland of the east Coorg and its surroundings.

The journey started on 3-09/2016 at sharp 4.30 AM.Below are the pics of the beautiful Madikeri or Coorg nestled among the Western Ghats.

On the way to Mandalapatti which is some 17 kms from Abbi water falls.The roads went through some dense forest roads amidst some Coorgy villages.

The plan for 3 days are as follows:
Day 1-Total distance covered-337 km
Places of interest-Abbi Falls,Mandalapatti
Place to check in-Kushal Nagar
Day 2-Total distance covered-180 km
Places of interest-Harangi Dam,Chelavara falls,Kodagu hill
Place to check in-Kushal Nagar
Day 3-Total distance covered-323 Km
Place of interest-Mallali falls,Sakhleshpur
Total distance covered-900 km approx

Few pics from the Mandalapatti top.It offers a spectacular view of the hills and surroundings but unfortunately it was raining on that day.So it was covered with thick monsoon clouds and was a unique experience of its own
.This place is around 17 kms from Madikeri.
