so after a long break,, my log of one of my best monsoon rides is here.. i know its quite late to post it. apologies for that,, but due to some professional and personal engagements, wasn't able to find time to write....
:::::::::::::::::::::RIDE SHIVTHAR GHAL::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
So after a nice ride to Purandar, everyone in my group was excited to make another ride and bit longer than previous one. So, after long discussions and head banging’s and persuasions we were able to decide the place where we Gonna rock!!

The place was Shivthar Ghal, place where the famous book on Swami Samarth was written. This was a 300+ KM trip and the path was less traversed so we had to leave early and take less stoppages. BUT, as expected we were late , bit due to rains, bit Ganesh God’s Devotees
. who went to temple before ride. so the actual time for start turned out to be 07:45AM.riders were : me
+ pillion (pulsar 200), sunit + pillion (pulsar classic), Vineet + pillion (apache) and abhishek (HH passion). We started from Chandni Chawk, and it was already 8:00 AM, we took the Banglore highway and kept moving at good speed. After a while I noticed only me and Sunit are moving and other two bikes are nowhere in rear view mirrors. Deepina my pillion called and Abhishek updated that vineet’s bike had got punctures so they have stopped to get it repaired…. “What a perfect Start” I said to myself.

We thought of having breakfast while the mechanic replaces the tube. Hard Luck To Khanna Ji, but he didn’t lose the spirit (good) .
The BIKE :-

So when we started again it was around 9:30 -10:00.
We were already late, we confirmed the way to BHOR, our first milestone, and continued. Crossed the Kewl tunnel that I think I have crossed 4 – 5 times.

We didn’t stopped this time and kept riding. We continued till the diversion to BHOR came , taking us off the NH -4 and we got our tanks filled.

The road seemed OK, in the start I though soon it will improve as we move onn, but I was going to be proved wrong and that to a extent that I’ll curse the roads like hell. But then I was with hope that the roads will improve,, so we all kept riding keeping our kool. And crossed some small villages. It was nice to see the daily routine of a village so close.

So soon we got the first spot where everyone decided to stop and get themselves clicked. I don’t know what happened and everyone was running for the spot throwing their stuff : as if someone has let go of captives after long….

neclace river....

we got really nice clicks….

And then we started for the Varandha Ghats, as we have lost a lot of time we thought of skipping BHOR. Weather was nice and cool , small drizzle only, but roads were just going in inverse proportions.

But We kept on stopping for Pics…..
there was a dam,,as we got on our way up to varanda ghats, don remember the name. no pictures of dam; as none was allowed but it was filled up with water and was looking awsome....

tht's me posed by chance
.Soon we entered Vrandha Ghats. And we all forgot the anger on roads, the view was awesome, the weather with drizzle making it even lovelier. Chk it out…

took some good pics...and re-discussed the plan....

my lovly bike....
