  • A drive to Anaikatti MY first trip

Hai I’m posting my first trip experiences. It’s all started when I got my little beast one day before Diwali this year. Traveler in me urged me for a one day trip to start my travel adventures. Googled “Places to visit near Coimbatore” whenever I’m free on the work (due to client holidays in November and December it’s almost no work:-p) finally decided to go to Anaikatti (TN-Kerala border). It was around 30 km from my living place.

After the salary day I went back home and informed will not come next week. I asked my friends to join with me. But everyone declined including my elder roommate. So I had planned to go solo and asked some local Coimbatore friends about the route. They advised me to go on day time, because of the animal crossing (Mostly Jumbo) in the wild road and again “thambi pathu po” (Bro be careful)
I had planned for the trip on Saturday (10/12/2016) On the Friday night a medical miracle happen:-p. My friend called me and told me “Machi can we go out somewhere??” He agreed to join with me. We were decided to go with my bike since his bike was at service. It’s always sounds loud when you got a companion.

It’s another lazy morning of an 11-8 shift guy. Woke up around 9 AM and got ready by 9.45AM. After that I went to fuel station to feed my hunger little beast blinking Emergency on hunger. Once again traffic frustrated me and made me 10.30 to reach the place my friend told. Yeah that culprit made me to wait for another half an hour. When he joined with me I take some snacks and tea as a breakfast, meanwhile he was checking my little beast’s tire pressure.

Roads were in good condition. But the wind and dust forced me to close the visor. After some Km suddenly we felt chillness and able to see west Ghats clearly. That climate change shifted up the gears of happiness. We had seen the unused paddy lands and brick chambers on besides of the road. It goes like green –red, red-green race. We were stopped by police people at a check post near Mankarai.

After that check post we were entered in the jungle road. It offered me curve roads, little uphill road, No traffic and lot of greenery, that’s all needed for a city rider. We were stopped on the midway somewhere to click some pics… pics and rest of the story soon after approval…
