This is how it began.... Long long ago, there was a rider. He had traveled to many a places on his motorbike. He liked to travel mostly in winters due to obvious benefits. Once, he and his friend were discussing where to go next. They had heard about many an interesting places in Aurangabad. They finalized their tour. They completed their tour and went back home cherishing all the memories.

Then the rider had some work in Bengaluru the very next day . So he thought why not explore near by places. And so began the quest for Mysuru, Ooty, Belum caves and Gandikota. This is how he completed 4000 kms in about 5 days and he is living happily ever after, with thirst for more tours....

The friend of the rider who is also a rider with the beast @ AWB(aurangabad) station...
The station is equipped with a sensor system that lits up the sign board when you point at it. Notice the english Auranagabd lit up. If you point at Hindi, it will lit up too.... I hope you know I am kidding...

Location: Somewhere on the way to Mega Lonar Lake
Formation: Someone dug a pothole and forgot to cover it.

Ajanta Caves

FYI: One has to park car/bike about 4 kms away from the caves(proper pay and park). Then pass thru the Ajanta Market to reach Bus stand. Bus charges some INR 15 one way. Shoes have to removed to enter caves. You can walk on the outside corridor with shoes on though. Photography is strictly prohibited inside caves. You can take photos from outside.




Lunch for the day.. Thats it.... That hawker was completely shocked seeing us eat and eat and eat till all this disappeared. Bhukkad people..


Afternoon Namaaz time and photo with excited kids....

Dinner.... King size Gujrati Thali. We were so hungary, didnt even take a snap of that awesome food. Never mind...

Agenda: Bibi ka Maqbara, Pan chakki, Prozone mall(hargest horizintal mall something inaugurated by Hrithik Roshan), Daulatabad Fort, ElloraCaves....quite a handful....
Many people told me it is impossible to do so many things in one day. I said them: "Impossible".. I eat it for breakfast.
The Beast ready for day 2 as always...

This was an amazing sight. Its big...... and its presence dominates the area. It is way bigger than I anticipated from what I saw on google images.
I hereby certify Aurangabad as a must visit place for historic importance..


There I am.... 3 guys were sitting on that bench. Many people came to take photo and they were just adamant to move. So many people just took a photo while standing. This is what I observed from the moment we enter to the time I reach this bench. The biking attire and the beard does have the effect. D id not need me to tell them anything. Got up on their own and disappeared. So, there I am...

The grave. Surrounded by 10,20,50,5 ruppees notes and coins....despite all discouragement from Govt authorities. Demonitisation had made these very tempting. everybody wanted a change in INR 2000 chaos then. The white thing is entrance ticket. Wonder why people threw that.

A bunch of Roses. There are about 10 8x8 feet plantations, secured by nylon rope, of different variety of roses in the garden at the entrance.



Aurangabad Caves entrance: Mittal insisted that we go a have some clicks at the place also shown in movie M S DHONI.


People can recall this as well from that song in MS DHONI. It is right in the centre of the caves.
