We had our wedding in early Feb, 2018. Since it was a 2 state wedding thing, we had the entire month of feb spent at each of our parents homes. In the March beginning, when we returned to our work in Mumbai, we just started thinking about this one road trip we were planning for so long. And just like that, the next 2-3 weeks we got busy setting up the itinerary, preparing the bike, arranging the gears for the trip etc. Though we had second thoughts about the entire trip many times knowing that the weather would be too hot and the destination chosen was Udaipur, and the fact that we had only done short drives of 100-150 kms tour in the past, a long trip of this distance was the first for us together. However, we just thought we would proceed and see how bad it would be and if it were to be too bad of an experience, we would learn a lesson and be cautious the next time. I was super excited with the idea of this road trip right from the beginning and my wife was too encouraging and was full of enthusiasm to make it happen.

I got the jelly seats, Figo ride on air and a back rest for the pillion. We also got Bluetooth sets for our helmets so that me or the pillion won’t get too bored over the drive for long hours. Since it was out first long tour on bike, we got all the saddle bags, stays, tank bag and riding jackets and the action cam as well. Thus we began our journey on 25th March, the Sunday morning.
